EJ Barbato

Hailing from the sleepy suburbs of New Jersey, EJ is an experimental filmmaker and visual artist, with a particular fascination in horror and science fiction. Her interests in creative media date back to her childhood, as an avid consumer of film and television, and when she dreamed of starring opposite David Duchovny in The X-Files. Since graduating from Marymount Manhattan College with a B.A. in Communication Arts and a Minor in Gender & Sexuality Studies, EJ has been working on various short-form video and sound projects with long-time friend and collaborator, Pumpkin Paccione. Today, EJ divides her time between New York and New Jersey, where she's in search of the next fun adventure (hopefully involving aliens).
