HOLLER! (2015)
EJ Barbato’s experimental horror thesis film explores the inner workings of the White Male Gaze and its subjects: men of color and women. The short film project examines the deadliness of The Gaze through depictions of race-based violence. HOLLER! draws inspiration from real life experiences of street violence which ultimately lead to the systemic murders of marginalized individuals.
